Special Note: If you have a child that would be interested in one of these classes but is not within the age range specified above for that particular class, please specify the class and their age. If there are enough children of a certain age interested in a particular class, we will try to offer it as well. For example, if I have a group of 5 year olds that would like to learn sign language, a group of 2 year olds that would like to take drama, or a group of 7/8 year olds that would like to sing and dance, we would be happy to add a class to the schedule. Please specify the ages of your children and their interests so we can create classes that are exciting to YOU! Our goal is to have the classes tailed to the needs, wants, and interests of the Gainesville Jewish Community.

Baby Sign
Are you frustrated by not being able to fully communicate with your baby? Research shows that babies can sign on average 2-3 months earlier than they can use verbal speech. Come “open your eyes” to a whole new world by learning baby sign language! It will also include some Jewish signs. It is not only useful…but it is also fun for you and your child!

Mommy and Me Music
This class will be for pre-walkers and their parents to introduce them to the world of music. It will include nursery rhymes, songs (Jewish AND non-Jewish), instruments, and movement. This class is perfect for music loving moms and their pre-toddlers.

My Little Rock Star
This class will be for toddlers through 4 ½ years old and their parents. It will include singing (Jewish AND non-Jewish music), dancing, signing, playing instruments, and other kinesthetic movements. This class is perfect for children that are exploring the world of locomotion and music.

Mommy and Me Drama
This class will be for 3-5 year olds and their parents. Children will be exposed to the most basic elements of drama. They will get to act out their favorite nursery rhymes, fairy tales, and fables. It will also include some Jewish stories and plays. This class is perfect for those children with a lot of energy and a creative imagination.
